The best part about cooking is, of course, eating the fruits of your labor. The worst part is that sinking feeling you get when you see the disaster area that is your kitchen post-meal. Make the cleanup easy on yourself by cooking up these delicious one-pot dishes.

why do these all look like crap?
As a mother, I simply don't see a family with kids being able to make these and get eaten.
Simple way to "encourage" the kids to eat these dishes (which look yummy to me): No options. Eat this or refuse it. The child must still sit at the table with the rest of the family until they're done. No substitutions unless it's for allergies. No snacks if the meal not eaten.
Kids who are exposed to good food without options to eat junk nor to have a short order cook in the house, eventually eat. The trick is to start early. If you've already McDonaldized your kids, you have to work much harder.
Where's the peach and apple dessert you had on tv this morning - where the gal broke the glass - I'd like the recipe!
