Tyler Florence beefs it up! Tasty ways to prepare ground meat

Food Network star Tyler Florence talks about his new project on Rockefeller Plaza and answers TODAY Facebook fan questions, such as the difference between sea salt and kosher salt and new ideas on how to use ground meat.

Chef Tyler Florence is a seasoned Food Network star with hit shows like Food 911 and Tyler's Ultimate.  He has been welcomed as a guest chef at TODAY by everyone from Katie Couric and Maria Shriver to Meredith Viera.  Earlier this week he came to 30 Rockefeller Plaza to debut House Beautiful's "Kitchen of the Year," a gorgeous structure on the plaza that is open to the public and to show how to make a sizzling summer shrimp boil with corn.  

I caught up with Tyler after his segment and chatted with him about why he is so excited about the kitchen on the plaza and asked him some questions posed by TODAY viewers', submitted via the TODAY Food Facebook page.  Click on the video above to find out Tyler's go-to recipe for ground beef (hint: it's NOT a burger, chili or meatloaf) and the difference between sea salt and kosher salt.
